Midnite is a next-generation sports betting and gaming platform with over 400,000 players. The company operates as a high-performance team focused on sharp product thinking, bold branding, and fast execution.
As Head of People Performance, you will lead the evolution of Midnite's People function from strong foundations to a next-generation capability. You'll own the design and delivery of differentiated programmes that raise performance standards, reinforce culture, and support scaling.
Key responsibilities include:
• Own and evolve RAD, Midnite's performance approach, from framework design through manager enablement, calibration, and continuous improvement.
• Build progression and levelling frameworks that provide clarity, support consistently high standards, and scale without unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Create a proactive learning and development strategy that strengthens managers, develops critical capabilities, and brings Midnite's cultural tenets to life.
• Turn performance data into meaningful talent reviews and succession plans, ensuring top performers are recognized, stretched, and retained.
• Use performance, engagement, and retention insights to identify opportunities, test ideas, and prove measurable impact.
• Partner directly with founders, VPs, and functional leaders—building trust, navigating resistance, and adapting your approach without compromising outcomes.
• Own programmes end-to-end: diagnose, design, launch, embed, measure, and iterate.
You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, turning bold ideas into simple, credible programmes that managers use, employees trust, and the business can measure impact from.
Requirements:
• Proven track record building and running high-impact People programmes in a fast-moving tech scale-up; deep understanding of high-performance environments.
• Both strategic and deeply hands-on—comfortable moving beyond frameworks to ensure programmes work in practice.
• Creative thinker who challenges conventional HR approaches while remaining pragmatic and commercially focused.
• Data-driven decision maker who can tell compelling stories and demonstrate measurable results.
• Credibility and adaptability to influence founders and senior leaders, including those resistant to change.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity, move at pace, and take real ownership for outcomes.
