ChowNow is seeking a Head of People Operations to serve as the strategic people leader for the organization. You will partner closely with the CEO and executive team to align talent strategy with business objectives and drive organizational effectiveness.
ChowNow is a leading player in off-premise restaurant technology, supporting over 20,000 restaurants across North America. The platform helps independent restaurant owners focus on their core business by providing solutions across the entire digital dining experience—from branded websites and mobile apps to online ordering, menu management, delivery consolidation, and targeted marketing. The company has processed $1B+ in gross food sales and saved restaurant partners over $700M in third-party commission fees.
In this role, you will oversee the People & Culture and Recruiting teams, reporting directly to the CEO. While the existing People team manages day-to-day HR operations, your focus will be on organizational effectiveness, executive coaching, workforce planning, leadership development, recruiting strategy, and building scalable people programs. You will be equally comfortable influencing executive decisions, leading organizational change, and executing across the people function.
Key responsibilities include partnering with the executive team on talent strategy, developing and coaching leaders, designing organizational structures that support business growth, building and scaling people programs, and driving recruiting strategy aligned with business needs. You will influence organizational design and help shape the culture as ChowNow enters a new era under its CEO, Kanika Soni.
