OpenAI is seeking a Head of Partnerships to lead the company's strategic B2B partnership initiatives. This is a senior business development role on a small, fast-moving partnerships team that shapes OpenAI's most important collaborations. You will identify, structure, and scale partnerships that expand how businesses adopt and benefit from OpenAI's AI products. You'll work across priority sectors including legal, professional services, information services, and other B2B categories, with flexibility to pursue the highest-impact opportunities as the market evolves. Key responsibilities include developing a portfolio strategy for high-impact B2B partnerships, identifying and prioritizing partners based on customer reach, differentiated data or workflows, distribution, and strategic value. You will originate, structure, negotiate, and launch complex product and commercial partnerships. You'll build joint value propositions and business plans spanning integration, distribution, go-to-market, and customer adoption. You will lead executive relationships and establish durable cross-functional partnership governance, coordinating product, engineering, sales, marketing, legal, finance, security, policy, and operations to deliver partnership outcomes. You'll translate partner and market insights into product strategy and new partnership models, and track adoption, pipeline, revenue impact, and partner performance. Required qualifications include 10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, enterprise technology, or platform ecosystems. You must have a proven track record personally originating and closing complex partnerships with senior executives. You should demonstrate the ability to evaluate opportunities across industries without relying on a single-sector playbook, with strong understanding of enterprise workflows, SaaS, data, AI products, and B2B distribution models. You need excellent strategic and commercial judgment, strong cross-functional leadership capabilities, and outstanding executive communication and relationship-building skills in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
