As Head of Partnerships, you will own the partnerships channel end-to-end, from strategy definition and partner mix to revenue generation and long-term growth. You'll lead the Partnerships team and build scalable processes and systems to support channel expansion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and implement channel strategy, including partner type prioritization, economics, guardrails, target mix, and run-rate targets
- Own the channel's new business revenue target and forecast with consistent governance across recaps, QBRs, and planning
- Manage partner onboarding, mentoring, development, and performance management with a rewards program for high performers
- Ensure quality of partner-sourced pipeline and smooth handoff to the Sales team in alignment with AEs
- Enforce partner compliance with program terms and agreements consistently, managing channel concentration and legacy arrangements
- Manage channel conflict by establishing clear rules of engagement between partners and direct sales, with strong internal and external communication
- Drive new monetization initiatives across reseller, services, technology, and startup ecosystems in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Legal
- Identify new relationship opportunities in reseller, service, and technology partner ecosystems
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic partners; run proactive planning processes with shared performance goals
- Advocate for partner community needs in internal planning with Marketing, Sales, Product, RevOps, CS, and Legal
- Lead, coach, and develop the partnerships team; build scalable processes and own partner tooling and reporting stack with RevOps
- Contribute to channel management best practices and benchmark the program against market standards
Requirements:
- 5+ years in partnerships, channel, or alliances at a B2B SaaS company, including 2+ years owning a partner channel's revenue number
- At least one channel strategy you defined and implemented yourself, from diagnosis through program design to operating results
- Track record of scaling a partner program while maintaining discipline: consistent enforcement of terms, evolving program structures, and focusing effort on conversion
- Fluent working with sales leadership, AEs, RevOps, Product, Legal, Finance, and CS
- Operational discipline: ability to document, automate, and build systems a small team can run
- Experience in sales-tech, sales intelligence, or GTM tooling is a strong advantage
