Kraken Pro is seeking a Head of Organic Growth to own discovery and conversion for the platform's serious trader audience. You will build and execute organic acquisition strategy across SEO, content, social, community, referrals, and partnerships, with a focus on bringing high-intent traders to the platform and converting them into active users. Key responsibilities include: owning the full organic acquisition funnel from first touch to first trade; mapping conversion paths and identifying drop-off points; working with Product and Design to optimize landing pages, sign-up flows, onboarding, and in-product experiences; building brand equity across all growth channels; deeply understanding Kraken Pro's product and competitive advantages; leading a lean, scrappy team while remaining hands-on; running experiments across channels to identify what works; building dashboards and insights for leadership; and ensuring compliant, accurate messaging across regions and platforms in partnership with Legal and Comms. This is a player-coach role that demands both strategic thinking and tactical execution. You'll move fast but think long-term, balancing acquisition volume with conversion quality and brand building. The role requires understanding that great acquisition fails without strong UX, and that reach without trust doesn't drive retention. Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, founded in 2011, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions globally. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services for both individual and institutional clients. Kraken Pro specifically serves serious traders. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years in B2C acquisition or growth marketing, ideally in fintech, crypto, trading, or gaming - Demonstrated experience in a player-coach role leading a small team - Product savvy: understanding how products work, why people use them, and how to translate features into growth levers - UX instinct: ability to spot friction in user flows and brief Product/Design on solutions - High AI competency to multiply impact and manage workload - Analytical rigor with funnels, cohorts, attribution, and experimentation; ability to translate data into decisions and narratives - Speed and ability to execute under pressure without approval cycles - Broad marketing range: SEO, content, social, lifecycle, partnerships—knowing enough to direct work and roll up sleeves when needed - Good judgment about which channels and tactics to pursue or avoid - Familiarity with trading culture and trader language - Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills to align teams around growth goals
