Salary: USD 178,848 - 234,738 / annual

Oscar Health is seeking a Head of Network Recruiting to lead strategic provider sourcing and network expansion efforts. In this role, you will drive the recruitment of non-anchor providers, Essential Community Providers (ECPs), and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) to expand and improve the payer network. You will directly support network adequacy standards, improve patient access, and enhance overall network performance. You will report to the Senior Vice President of Network & Provider Management and be responsible for architecting targeted network expansion strategies, leading end-to-end recruitment plans for medical groups and community health centers to meet geographic growth and access goals. You will monitor regional provider density and access metrics to prioritize and close gaps to exceed state, federal (CMS), and product-level adequacy standards. Collaboration with Network Contracting, Network Strategy, and Market Leadership teams will be essential to align provider recruitment targets with regulatory needs and broader commercial, ACA, or Medicare growth plans. Key responsibilities include tracking and leading recruitment pipeline velocity and team productivity, using network design analytics to monitor pipeline throughput and address regulatory coverage gaps, and building, mentoring, and leading a high-performing team of network development professionals (both employees and contractors). You will promote a culture of accountability, operational thoughtfulness, and continuous improvement. The position is based in Tempe, Arizona with a hybrid work schedule requiring 3 days in-office per week. Thursdays are mandatory in-office days for team meetings and events, with two additional flexible office days. Travel up to 15% is required. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field - 12+ years of experience in healthcare industry - 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in provider network development, network operations, or provider recruitment within a health plan, MSO, or health system - Experience engaging and contracting with community health centers, FQHCs, and independent provider groups - Demonstrated understanding of CMS and state-level network adequacy requirements and access-to-care standards - Experience managing multi-departmental workflows across contracting, legal, operations, and market leadership teams - Experience using network management platforms (e.g., Quest Analytics) and CRM tools to drive recruitment strategy Bonus: Master's degree (Master of Health Administration, Master of Public Health, or MBA)
