Mach9 Robotics is seeking a Head of Marketing to build the company's first complete marketing system and establish market leadership in infrastructure technology. The company has a proven product with existing customers and is at an inflection point, needing a repeatable go-to-market strategy to scale. In this role, you will define Mach9's positioning, messaging, and category narrative, evolving the story from a product for surveyors into a broader platform for infrastructure work. You'll build a repeatable demand-generation system, identifying high-impact channels and programs that drive qualified pipeline, demo requests, and expansion opportunities. You'll establish clear attribution and reporting, owning quarterly marketing-sourced pipeline targets alongside the sales team. Key responsibilities include leading product marketing across launches, customer proof points, and sales enablement; building industry presence through events, partnerships, press, founder visibility, and customer advocacy; and leading a small in-house team while leveraging AI, agencies, contractors, and creative partners to extend reach. You'll partner closely with product and engineering to translate technical breakthroughs into compelling customer value propositions. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of marketing leadership experience (Director-level) at a fast-scaling tech company (Series A–C stage), with hands-on experience marketing technical products such as developer tools or generative AI. You should have exceptional strength in product, content, and revenue marketing; experience defining and instrumenting marketing measurement from the ground up; and strong writing and editorial judgment. Technical curiosity and the ability to become a credible subject-matter expert alongside engineers and specialized customers is essential. Experience with AI tools to amplify a lean team's output is highly valued. Prior experience in geospatial, construction technology, robotics, industrial software, CAD, GIS, or infrastructure is a bonus, as is experience with channel partners, resellers, or community building.
