Revolut is seeking a Head of Lending to lead the mortgage lending business across France and the Netherlands. This is a director-level role responsible for building and managing a local team to define and implement mortgage lending strategy, oversee branch activities and portfolio risk, manage regulatory relationships, and establish underwriting, portfolio management, and collections policies.
You will be the primary point of contact for regulators and local authorities, validating underwriting strategies and driving both preventative and reactive market and product initiatives. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on credit risk management, requiring deep expertise in mortgage lending and the ability to scale lending features that support Revolut's global growth.
Key responsibilities include: leading team recruitment and development; overseeing the local loan portfolio's overall risk profile; establishing and executing credit policies and activities; managing regulatory engagement; and ensuring compliance with local financial regulations. You'll work closely with Revolut's Credit team, which manages the entire product lifecycle from backend systems to customer-facing experiences across multiple regions.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of bank executive experience with deep mortgage lending expertise, proven ability to build and lead teams, extensive experience with risk modeling and credit decisioning, and strong regulatory engagement skills. An entrepreneurial mindset, personal resilience, and logical reasoning are essential. Executive committee experience is a plus.
