Airbnb is seeking a Head of Homes Supply for Indonesia to lead the company's destination business growth in the country. In this role, you will take full ownership of scaling Airbnb's Homes and Hotels business across Indonesia, with a focus on partnering with top local hosts to improve quality, optimize listings, and drive account performance.
You will lead a team of Market Managers and design comprehensive destination strategies tailored to local market dynamics across target Indonesian cities. Key responsibilities include developing and executing localized strategies that account for consumer behavior, regulations, and competitive dynamics; onboarding and managing partners while optimizing their listings; building relationships with key accounts and identifying growth opportunities; planning and overseeing host engagement programs at scale; and working cross-functionally with Global Markets, Product, Legal, Policy, Communications, and Marketing teams to drive sustainable growth.
You will represent Airbnb at external events and industry forums, coach team members for current and future roles, and identify market trends to overcome barriers and capitalize on emerging opportunities. The role requires extensive domestic and international travel.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 15+ years of experience in commercial roles, strategy, business development, or marketplace management
- Experience in the OTA (Online Travel Agency) or travel technology sector
- 5+ years managing teams with a track record of growing and scaling high-performing organizations
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (required)
- Strong analytical and strategic skills, using data to uncover opportunities and guide market decisions
- Blend of operational and commercial skills to acquire supply across multiple channels
- Proven ability to influence product, policy, and cross-functional teams
- Fluency with dashboards and analytics tools
- Demonstrated success achieving results through others, including performance management and team building
- Bold, compassionate leadership style with clear direction, constructive feedback, and hands-on coaching
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and turn strategy into results
