The role requires deep customer and marketing understanding, strong hypothesis generation and prioritization, rapid execution, rigorous measurement, and continuous improvement of tooling and processes. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years leading and running high-volume experiments for DTC ecommerce brands in high-pace, high-transaction-volume environments - Experience and comfort with the scary intensity of high-growth startups - Ability to think in macro swings and avoid local hill-climbing when the fundamental direction is uncertain - Strong consumer taste and intuition; ability to recognize when a flow feels dead, cringe, slow, confusing, or magical - Deep funnel literacy: understanding the ad-to-landing-page handoff, paid efficiency metrics (CPL, CAC, quality score), and LP experience - Hands-on and autonomous; you've personally owned end-to-end testing from ideation through QA and readouts, not simply managed agencies or teams - Maniacal about metrics; comfortable in data, naturally curious, able to segment and analyze behavior beyond top-line numbers - Comfortable with design principles and wireframing; able to work closely with design to execute ideas - Sufficiently technical that code doesn't intimidate you; you see turning ideas into pixels as part of your remit - Team leadership: you run a team of strictly A-players and have high standards for excellence - Willingness to get hands dirty in the trenches; not too senior to grind it out when needed - Strategic thinking at 30,000 feet while executing in the weeds; ability to ensure the team takes required big swings - Exceptional meta-skills: autodidact with impressive speed and resourcefulness, highly organized, able to handle multiple concurrent projects and uncertainty - Agentic and action-oriented; history of being pulled into important problems, taking risks, and excelling in new areas - Systems thinking; ability to recognize underlying systems and improve them to fix root causes
