revel8 is a cybersecurity training platform that uses hyper-realistic simulations and AI-driven attacks to build human resilience against evolving threats. The company has established strong product-market fit in Germany and is now expanding across Europe.
As Head of EU Expansion, you will own revel8's international growth strategy and execution across five new markets: Benelux, Nordics, Iberia, UK&I, and Italy. This is a foundational role with full backing from the founders to shape the company's European trajectory.
Your responsibilities include:
**Market Entry & Strategy**: Develop and execute go-to-market plans for each new market, identifying target customers and building repeatable sales motions from first logo to scalable revenue.
**Team Building & Leadership**: Hire, develop, and lead high-performing enterprise sales teams across five regions, building each country organization from scratch and setting hiring standards.
**Hands-On Sales**: Close key deals yourself and coach your team through complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles. You lead from the front, not from behind.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work with leadership, marketing, and customer success to localize messaging, positioning, and offerings to each market's cultural and commercial realities.
**Revenue Operations**: Set ambitious targets, build forecasting discipline, establish pipeline processes, and maintain clear visibility into each market's performance for the founders.
You will be based in Munich (office-first with flexibility) and travel regularly across target markets.
**Requirements**:
- Proven track record as a top-performing individual contributor in B2B enterprise software sales
- Several years of experience leading and scaling sales teams (e.g., Sales Director, Head of Sales)
- Deep experience selling complex software solutions to large enterprise customers
- Hands-on knowledge of long, consultative sales cycles (not PLG or self-serve)
- Hands-on experience across multiple European markets; understanding of cultural and commercial differences in buying behavior and decision-making
- Demonstrated success opening new markets and building sales organizations from the ground up
- Strong team player who mentors and develops others
- Comfort with regular travel across target markets
- Fluency in English
- Bonus: Experience building a European market for a non-European company; background in cybersecurity or adjacent B2B SaaS; additional European languages
