As Head of EMEA Marketing, you will own the complete marketing function for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region. This is a builder role focused on transforming early traction into a durable market presence across EMEA.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning end-to-end EMEA marketing: brand presence, demand generation, partner marketing, events, and customer case studies
- Adapting global programs and creating net-new local initiatives where gaps exist
- Partnering with EMEA sales and account teams to align marketing activity with pipeline priorities and key target accounts
- Developing and executing vertical ABM strategy with targeted campaigns grounded in real customer outcomes
- Localizing core positioning and messaging for the EMEA market in collaboration with product marketing
- Leading EMEA events strategy, including owned events and third-party sponsorships
- Building and owning the EMEA partner marketing motion, developing co-marketing programs with resellers, SIs, and platform partners
- Creating joint GTM programs with key partners: co-branded campaigns, partner-led events, solution briefs, and field enablement
- Tracking and reporting on pipeline contribution and marketing performance for the region
Success metrics include establishing credible, consistent brand presence in the EMEA market; making partner marketing a meaningful pipeline channel; enabling key SIs and platform partners to actively co-sell and co-market; aligning HQ and EMEA on messaging and programs; and positioning Cognition as a serious player in the EMEA developer and enterprise ecosystem.
You should have 5–10 years in enterprise B2B GTM with meaningful EMEA marketing experience. Fluency in English and ability to operate credibly across EMEA cultures is essential. You'll need experience across demand generation, field marketing, partner marketing, and events—this is not a specialist role. Strong background in building and executing partner marketing programs with resellers, SIs, GSIs, and platform alliances is required. You're a strong operator comfortable building in ambiguous environments, able to translate complex technical products into messaging that resonates with enterprise buyers and technical audiences, and collaborative with low ego.
Bonus experience includes developer tools, AI/ML, or engineering productivity platforms; companies with services-plus-product models; and existing relationships with key EMEA SIs and resellers.
