As Head of Deployments, you will lead a team of 8-10 Deployment Strategists managing customer implementations ranging from $10K to $2M+, including enterprise clients like Square, Autodesk, HubSpot, and Robinhood. You own the entire Deployments function end-to-end: technical onboarding, project management, and time-to-value optimization for new customers, with particular focus on AI deployments and workforce management (WFM) onboarding.
Key responsibilities include building repeatable, scalable deployment processes from scratch; leading and developing the Deployment Strategist team with coaching and capacity planning; owning the sales-to-deployment handoff to ensure scoping accuracy and SOW guardrails; managing the Services P&L and booking $1M in Services revenue over 12 months; benchmarking and improving time-to-value metrics, especially for high-value customers; serving as escalation point for at-risk deployments; and partnering with Product and Support to resolve recurring implementation issues.
You will work directly with a seasoned Chief Customer Officer and grow into expanded scope as the business scales. This is a substantive operational role requiring strong customer-facing skills, hands-on builder's mindset, proven people leadership (8+ direct reports), pre-sales and value-framing expertise, and prior experience running a P&L in services or professional services contexts. Startup, consulting, or services background is valued.
