Roboflow is building a platform that gives software the sense of sight, enabling developers and organizations to build, deploy, and manage computer vision applications. With over 1 million developers using the platform and customers ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, Roboflow is scaling computer vision from experimentation into production across manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, retail, and other industries.
You will lead and scale Roboflow's Delivery organization, which includes Implementation Engineering and Forward Deployed Engineering teams. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll own the teams, operating model, and customer delivery strategy while remaining deeply involved in the work yourself. You are expected to understand customer problems, engage with technical details, participate in critical customer conversations, and help solve the most complex deployments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and scaling the Delivery organization, building organizational structure, roles, processes, and operating cadence as Roboflow grows
- Getting hands-on with complex customer deployments, working directly with customers and your team on architecture discussions, scoping, troubleshooting, and executive conversations
- Creating repeatable frameworks for scoping, implementation, deployment, escalation, and handoff that scale without forcing all customers into the same model
- Partnering with Sales and Solutions Architects to ensure successful deployments from sale to production
- Establishing clear definitions of implementation success, time-to-value, and deployment health, with systems to measure and improve outcomes
- Identifying opportunities to solve scalability challenges through people, process, product, documentation, tooling, or automation
- Hiring, coaching, and developing Implementation Engineers and Forward Deployed Engineers who combine technical depth with customer instincts and high ownership
- Creating feedback loops between Delivery, Product, and Engineering to surface customer problems and influence product investment
- Partnering across GTM functions (Sales, Solutions Architects, Support, Partnerships) for seamless customer experience
Within the first year, success means building a clear operating model, creating consistency in deployment scoping and execution, developing a team capable of supporting increasingly complex customers, and ensuring your largest customers reach production faster with greater predictability.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience building or leading a customer-facing technical delivery, forward deployed engineering, implementation engineering, professional services, or similar organization in a technical software company
- Deep technical expertise and comfort working alongside engineers on complex customer problems
- Hands-on leadership style; managing a team does not mean stepping away from the work
- Personal experience working with customers on complex implementations and understanding the path from proof of concept to production
- Ability to balance customer-specific needs with the need to build a scalable product and organization
- Excellent people leadership skills to attract, develop, and retain highly technical, high-agency talent
- Ability to operate across technical and business audiences (engineers and executives)
- Strong judgment around prioritization and resource allocation with multiple competing customer needs
- Comfort thriving in environments where the playbook is still being written
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience building a Delivery or Forward Deployed Engineering function from an earlier stage
- Background in developer tools, infrastructure, AI/ML, data platforms, robotics, computer vision, or other deeply technical product environments
- Experience supporting deployments involving both software and the physical world
- Experience with enterprise customers on complex, multi-stakeholder deployments
- Track record building systems that improved time-to-value or made services-heavy motions more repeatable and scalable
- Ownership of entire customer success processes
