Nash is a logistics AI company that powers delivery operations for major brands including Walmart, 7-Eleven, Ahold Delhaize, and Square. The platform plans, dispatches, and adjusts deliveries in real time, already coordinating human drivers, drones, and autonomous vehicles. Backed by a16z and Y Combinator, Nash is establishing a new category called "autonomic logistics"—systems that plan, run, and improve delivery operations continuously on their own.
You will be Nash's first Head of Corporate Communications, owning how the company is understood by press, analysts, customers, partners, and internal teams. You'll report to the Chief Growth Officer (who previously led growth at Twilio, Plaid, and Salesforce) and work closely with the CEO on his external voice, alongside a small, senior, fast-moving team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own Nash's corporate narrative across press, analysts, customers, partners, and internal communications, working alongside Product Marketing on positioning
- Build media programs across business, technology, and trade press (supply chain, retail, grocery, autonomous delivery)
- Build analyst relations from scratch to establish autonomic logistics as a recognized category with Nash as the reference point
- Prepare CEO and senior leaders as spokespeople with recognizable voices and clear points of view
- Own internal communications to ensure the team hears important news first
- Turn customer wins into public proof with verifiable metrics
- Own issues, crisis management, speaking, awards, and agency relationships
The role requires editorial judgment to distinguish what Nash wants to announce from what reporters actually want to write about. You'll need business fluency to understand why customers buy from Nash and what technical buyers push back on, ensuring coverage shapes the deals Sales is working. You must have composure to handle potential issues when AI systems operate in the physical world. The role is AI-native: you'll use Claude to research reporters, build monitoring systems, and prepare executives, while ensuring all external communications sound authentically human.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years in communications with in-house leadership at a high-growth B2B technology company, OR senior agency experience with genuine appetite to move in-house
- Has built or led an analyst relations program for a complex enterprise platform
- Real relationships with business, technology, and trade press with a track record of placing stories
- Has prepared C-level executives as spokespeople
- Uses Claude or equivalent LLM as a core part of research, preparation, and work (beyond copy editing)
- Exceptional writing, strong opinions held loosely, and discretion
- Bonus: analyst-side experience, category creation at infrastructure/logistics/autonomy companies, or public writing presence
- Location: Bay Area (hybrid) or US remote
