Overwolf is seeking a Head of Agency Partnerships to lead strategic relationships with major advertising holding companies and elevate gaming's position within media planning and budgets.
In this role, you will serve as the senior voice that agencies know, trust, and plan with. You will negotiate and close agreements that transform one-off campaigns into long-term, always-on partnerships. Your focus is on building relationships that move gaming budgets from exploratory initiatives to strategic priorities within agency media plans.
This is the most senior relationship-focused role on the Brand Partnerships team. You will carry a revenue number and participate in a commission plan, working alongside the sales team as a peer. Success is measured by your ability to land major partnership agreements, expand gaming's share of advertising budgets, and establish Overwolf as the trusted partner for agencies seeking gaming inventory and audience access.
You will work cross-functionally with the sales organization, product, and operations teams to ensure partnerships are structured, executed, and scaled effectively. This is a hands-on leadership role where you are expected to be directly involved in relationship management, deal structuring, and revenue generation—not a supervisory position removed from the work.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in agency partnerships, media sales, or advertising relationships at a senior level
- Battle-tested experience closing complex, multi-year partnership agreements
- Deep understanding of how advertising holding companies operate and make budget allocation decisions
- Ability to position gaming as a strategic media category, not a niche or experimental channel
- Sales acumen and comfort with revenue targets and commission-based compensation
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Experience working in or with the gaming, media, or advertising technology sectors preferred
