Salary: USD 70,000 - 85,000 / annual
Vensure Employer Solutions, the largest privately held HR technology and services organization, is seeking a Business Consultant to drive new business growth in the San Francisco territory. You will identify and cultivate new business opportunities through networking, channel partnerships, and self-generated leads, executing aggressive prospecting strategies to access key decision makers. This role owns the entire sales cycle from initial prospecting through post-sale implementation and client onboarding.
You will negotiate pricing and scope of service with prospective clients, complete sales documentation, and finalize client service agreements. You are responsible for maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and forecast in Salesforce, and achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals set by leadership. Key responsibilities include conducting thorough analysis and planning to tailor HR/HCM solutions to client needs, staying informed on industry trends and competitive threats, scheduling regular client meetings during implementation, and preparing executive summaries for presentations.
You will develop lead generation strategies, collect and analyze data to provide strategic guidance, and participate in monthly consulting meetings where you mentor other team members. Frequent domestic travel is required for team onsite meetings, client visits, customer events, industry conferences, and training sessions. You will build and maintain strong relationships across the organization and with external partners, ensuring effective communication and service delivery.

REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant non-traditional degree, certifications, or job training)
- At least 2 years of sales experience (preferred)
- Previous experience and proficiency with CRM tools, specifically Salesforce or similar (preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Valid, non-restrictive driver's license required for regular travel to client sites and company locations
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills with ability to influence key stakeholders
- Understanding and execution of sales methodologies, strategies, and best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills in dynamic environments
- Ability to define problems, collect and interpret data, and draw valid conclusions
