Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Senior Deployment Lead for its Air Defense team. This role owns the operational execution, technical rollout, and sustainment of Anduril's suite of capabilities—including Lattice OS, Sentry Towers, Altius, and Anvil—in active-threat environments worldwide. You will lead expeditionary operations in austere and contested zones, managing the end-to-end deployment lifecycle from tactical planning and site surveying through installation, configuration, and sustainment of hardware and software systems. You'll directly manage a high-performing team of Technical Operations Engineers (TOPs), software and hardware engineers, and contracted support personnel, ensuring operational readiness and rapid deployment capability on short notice. Technically, you'll serve as the escalation point for complex field failures spanning mesh networking, RF spectrum interference, power distribution, and software integration. You'll work hands-on alongside your team to diagnose and resolve issues, while translating operational data, edge cases, and customer feedback back to Anduril's product and engineering teams in California to accelerate development. Customer-facing, you'll embed with tactical commanders and special operations units as the primary operational point of contact, overseeing rapid training of military operators and ensuring the deployed technical footprint aligns with the commander's concept of operations. You'll make critical operational decisions under pressure to protect personnel and assets while maintaining mission capability in volatile environments. Required: 6+ years of leadership experience in tactical, austere, or high-threat environments (military deployment, defense contracting, expeditionary government operations, or disaster response). Strong technical aptitude with complex hardware/software integrations, IP networking, RF communications, power systems, and Windows/Linux environments. High agency and comfort operating in ambiguity, solving problems independently without waiting for permission.
