Perplexity AI is hiring a GTM Strategy & Operations Lead to build the analytical and operational backbone of its rapidly scaling enterprise sales organization. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will own the end-to-end GTM operating model, from weekly pipeline reviews and quarterly business reviews to long-term capacity and quota planning. Key responsibilities include designing and running the sales forecasting process to give leadership accurate quarterly visibility; building and maintaining territory, segment, and coverage models across all sales motions; owning the territory carve process; and developing sales capacity and quota models that tie hiring plans to revenue targets. You will also own performance reporting across the entire funnel—conversion rates, pipeline health, rep productivity, attainment, and ramp—and conduct strategic analyses to identify what's working and what needs fixing in the go-to-market strategy. This is a hands-on operator role. You will run the GTM operating cadence with senior sales leaders, drive cross-functional GTM initiatives from planning through execution, and partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Strategic Finance to keep the plan grounded in shared data. You should have significant experience in GTM strategy, sales operations, or revenue operations at a high-growth company, with direct exposure to the scaling challenges that break sales teams. Strong SQL and analytical skills are essential—you pull your own data and build your own models rather than waiting on analyst support. Deep familiarity with Salesforce and hands-on experience with data warehouses like Snowflake are required. You must be comfortable running an operating cadence with senior leaders, structuring ambiguous problems, and communicating recommendations clearly to executives. You move fluidly between long-range planning and same-day operational questions, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Nice-to-haves include experience with usage-based or consumption business models, a background in management consulting or strategic finance, or prior experience at an AI or enterprise infrastructure company.
