Salary: USD 170,000 - 250,000 / annual
Traversal is an AI Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) platform trusted by enterprise customers to troubleshoot, remediate, and prevent complex production incidents. The company is building an AI agent lab for the enterprise with a team of researchers from MIT, Harvard, and Berkeley alongside engineers from top firms like Datadog, Cockroach Labs, and Perplexity.
As a Founding GTM Recruiter, you will build and own the go-to-market hiring engine from zero-to-one. This is a high-ownership, full-cycle recruiting role spanning Sales, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Partnerships, Marketing, and Operations.
Key responsibilities include: owning full-cycle GTM recruiting and sourcing through offer and close across multiple concurrent roles; building and running a proactive top-of-funnel with targeted outbound, fast inbound triage, and a strong referral engine; leading high-energy intro calls that qualify candidates while selling the mission and growth trajectory; partnering with founders and GTM leaders to define hiring profiles, calibrate the bar, and design repeatable interview loops; driving the close for every GTM hire including offer calls and competitive positioning; and contributing to GTM talent branding and long-term pipeline building.
You'll need 4+ years of full-cycle GTM recruiting experience, ideally with enterprise SaaS hiring for AE, SE/FDE, CS, RevOps, or Marketing roles. You should demonstrate the ability to source and close candidates independently, have strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high degree of ownership with comfort operating in ambiguity. Nice-to-haves include recruiting experience in technical enterprise SaaS (infra, observability, dev tools), early-stage startup experience, familiarity with modern ATS tools like Ashby, and experience with AI-native recruiting tools.
