Sundays for Dogs is a founder-led DTC pet food brand making human-grade, air-dried dog food. Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, the company operates a distributed team of 60 across the U.S. with a subscription-based model. They are entering an exciting growth stage, expanding product assortment, driving innovation, and opening new channels.
The Marketing team owns the full customer acquisition and growth engine, led by the VP of Growth Marketing. This is a net-new, individual contributor role reporting to the VP of Growth Marketing with no direct reports. The Go-to-Market Marketing Manager will own the go-to-market plan for new products moving through Sundays' pipeline—from pricing and packaging through positioning and promotional launch—and will carry that work into market through integrated, multi-channel campaigns. This role functions similarly to a CPG brand manager, without full P&L responsibility: you'll drive the commercial and marketing decisions that shape how a product comes to market, while Finance retains ultimate accountability for margin and profitability. Brand strategy sits outside this role.
Every launch has two motions: winning new customers and moving the existing subscriber base. Most of what a launch ships is a product surface—PDPs, quiz placement, SKU and bundle setup, promo mechanics, portal flows—so you'll partner closely with Digital Product & Engineering, Analytics, R&D, Supply Chain, Creative, Retention, Operations, and Customer Care to translate a product concept into a launch-ready plan. You'll be the connective tissue ensuring every function is aligned on what's launching, when, and how.
Day-to-day responsibilities include: owning the go-to-market plan for new product launches from concept through launch and early performance; defining launch tiers so small bets ship in weeks and big bets get the full plan; planning the new customer motion (offer construction, quiz placement, landing pages, paid creative, first-order economics); planning the active subscriber motion (attach, upgrade, swap, portal and email surfaces, cannibalization analysis, incremental LTV); defining pricing and packaging recommendations in partnership with R&D, Supply Chain, Digital Product, Creative, and Finance; writing merchandising and promotional inputs for Creative and Digital Product; defining the measurement plan before launch with success criteria and metrics; and coordinating launch and campaign timelines across functions, taking integrated campaigns to market across paid, email/CRM, organic social, content, and PR.
Success milestones: 30 days—up to speed on the product pipeline and marketing calendar, met key cross-functional partners, understand product surfaces; 3 months—led at least one full product launch including tier, pricing/packaging, new customer and subscriber motions, measurement plan, and one integrated campaign end-to-end; ongoing—running go-to-market and campaign planning as a repeatable process with tiered launch model, defined roles, pre-launch success criteria, and post-launch reporting.
This is a full-time, remote position with periodic travel to Cleveland for quarterly in-person gatherings.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in brand management, product marketing, or go-to-market roles, ideally in CPG or DTC
- Proven experience leading product launches end-to-end, including pricing and packaging decisions
- Experience launching on a subscription commerce stack, including eCommerce surfaces (brand pages, PDPs, quiz, SKU and bundle setup, promo mechanics, subscriber portal flows)
- Experience writing merchandising and promotional inputs for design and product teams, and marketing to both new customers and existing subscriber base (attach, upgrade, swap)
- Experience planning and executing integrated campaigns across paid, email/CRM, organic social, and content
- Working understanding of unit economics and pricing frameworks; ability to define success criteria and measurement plan before launch
- Ability to work cross-functionally across Digital Product & Engineering, Analytics, R&D, Supply Chain, and Creative without formal authority
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent launches and campaigns in a fast-paced, remote environment with strong written communication for briefs, launch plans, and cross-functional updates
