Niantic Spatial is building the future of physical AI with a proprietary database of over 30 billion posed images and groundbreaking mapping technology. The company serves customers across robotics, public sector, and energy/industrial markets, focusing on the 80% of economic activity that happens beyond screens. You will serve as the Go-to-Market lead for the Embodied AI group, reporting to the General Manager. Your mission is to build pipeline and customer relationships while helping the physical AI community overcome the sim-to-real gap for visual-spatial understanding. You'll have significant independence, direct access to product builders, and real accountability for business success. Key responsibilities include: - Market Mapping: Build a comprehensive view of prospects, use cases, and key contacts. Track funding, hiring, launches, and deployments. Develop and maintain a point of view on target accounts, timing, and approach. - Pipeline Development: Leverage relationships and targeted outreach to build qualified pipeline. Participate in industry communities and events. Turn attention-earning approaches into repeatable processes. - Customer Discovery: Immerse yourself in customer workflows—what they're trying to accomplish, what they've tried, where it breaks, and the cost of failure. Establish fit, urgency, and decision paths. Bring candid product-market alignment feedback to leadership. - Relationship Development: Be useful to accounts not yet ready to serve. Collaborate with Marketing on insights, introductions, content, and events. Identify what must change in their business or your capabilities for opportunities to mature. - Deal Closure: Manage opportunities through evaluation, proposal, negotiation, and signature. Define what evaluations must prove, identify decision-makers, and ensure commitments are delivered through handoff. - Commercial Model Design: Help design commercial models for a maturing product. Find simple solutions in ambiguous situations and bring discipline to early deal structuring. This is not a role for someone needing inbound leads, a finished playbook, or a fully baked product. You thrive in building mode, finding use cases, earning customer conviction, and closing deals. The role will not initially carry a sales quota but will carry clear accountability for qualified pipeline, customer learning, and deliverable business. Requirements: - Existing relationships that open doors in robotics, embodied AI, or infrastructure/tooling companies serving these sectors, plus a track record of building new relationships beyond your network. - Proven experience personally winning early customers for technical products, sourcing opportunities and closing business while use cases and commercial approaches were still being developed. - Experience shaping deals themselves—working with founders or technical teams to turn customer problems into concrete offers covering scope, proof of value, commercial terms, and evaluation-to-adoption paths. - Demonstrated evidence of changing approach based on customer learning—you can point to how customer evidence shifted your team's targeting, offering, or sales approach. - Credibility with technical buyers; ability to hold substantive conversations about customer workflows, simulation, training data, evaluation in embodied AI, reinforcement learning, imitation learning, and sim-to-real transfer. - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Nice to have: - Track record turning initial pilots into sustained usage, renewals, or expansion. - Experience scaling initial wins into repeatable approaches across customers. - Partnership or sales experience within the NVIDIA robotics ecosystem. - Sales experience with defense or industrial robotics teams.
