Mecka AI is building the data infrastructure layer for robotics and embodied AI. The company designs and operates global systems for data capture, data labeling, and hardware-enabled workflows used by leading AI labs and robotics companies to train and validate humanoid and embodied AI systems.
You will join as a GTM Associate focused on Data Partnerships, reporting to the Data Partnerships Lead. This is an outbound business-development and SDR role centered on prospecting, initial qualification, and creating qualified handoffs to senior closers.
Key responsibilities:
- Build accurate company and contact lists in priority segments, identifying why each business's data may be relevant and determining who can evaluate a partnership.
- Generate conversations through personalized email, phone, LinkedIn, and other approved channels, explaining how businesses can unlock value from their existing data.
- Qualify business fit, plausible data opportunity, relevant contacts, and willingness to explore partnerships; surface confidentiality, rights, and delivery questions without committing to terms.
- Create qualified opportunities with substantive discovery meetings and clear notes on stakeholders, fit, concerns, and next steps.
- Maintain consistent follow-up, account re-engagement, and accurate CRM records to enable seamless handoffs.
- Refine targeting and messaging using handoff feedback, downstream opportunity quality, response patterns, and objections to improve the outreach playbook.
You will work closely with frontier robotics teams and established businesses to bridge real-world data, simulation, learning-based systems, and deployed hardware.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Evidence of effective prospecting, business development, lead generation, or comparable customer-facing work.
- Strong account research and clear written and verbal communication, including focused outreach and thoughtful initial conversations.
- Persistence, organization, and reliable follow-through; able to handle rejection and adapt without constant supervision.
- Coachability and willingness to use feedback and work toward measurable outcomes.
- Based in New York or willing to relocate.
PREFERRED:
- Experience with CRM, account research, and outbound prospecting tools.
- Experience reaching senior operators or technical decision-makers, or helping build an early-stage outreach process.
