StockX, a Detroit-based technology marketplace for sneakers, apparel, accessories, electronics, collectibles, and trading cards, is seeking a Growth Manager to lead Paid Social, Programmatic, and Creative strategy. This is a player-coach role combining deep media buying expertise with a growth and experimentation mindset.
You will own strategy, execution, and performance across Paid Social and Programmatic channels including Meta, TikTok, display, streaming/CTV, and emerging platforms. You'll develop channel investment strategies focused on incremental customer acquisition and business growth, balancing scale, efficiency, and experimentation. The role remains hands-on—you'll personally build, launch, optimize, and troubleshoot campaigns alongside a Growth Specialist.
Creative strategy is central to this position. You'll build a structured creative testing program across messaging, formats, creators, products, audiences, and placements. You'll translate media and creative performance into actionable insights and briefs for Creative, Brand, and cross-functional partners. You'll develop clear hypotheses and experimentation roadmaps to understand incrementality, channel contribution, and scaling opportunities.
Additional responsibilities include evaluating new platforms and media opportunities with structured testing, partnering with BI on measurement strategy and incrementality testing, supporting launches with Product Marketing and Lifecycle teams, managing platform and agency relationships, and coaching and developing a Growth Specialist while maintaining a collaborative, hands-on operating model.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of hands-on performance/growth marketing experience, ideally in ecommerce, marketplaces, or consumer technology
- Deep expertise in Meta with meaningful experience across TikTok and programmatic media
- Proven experience managing and scaling significant paid media budgets
- Strong understanding of incrementality, experimentation, attribution, and limitations of platform-reported performance
- Demonstrated ability to connect media strategy to broader customer acquisition and business outcomes
- Strong creative strategy instincts and experience using performance data to develop creative hypotheses and testing plans
- Experience working directly with creative teams, creators, or agencies to turn insights into actionable briefs
- Strong analytical skills and comfort independently interrogating performance data
- Experience evaluating and launching new channels or media products
- Comfortable moving between strategy and execution
- Experience coaching or managing junior marketers
