Base Power is rebuilding America's electrical grid through distributed battery networks. The company is hiring a Growth Lead to own customer acquisition in new markets—including new geographies, utility partnerships, and homebuilder channels. In this role, you'll launch Base's go-to-market strategy from zero in untapped markets with no existing pipeline, brand presence, or proven playbook. You'll design and execute the full acquisition playbook (paid media, partner channels, local marketing), build repeatable processes, and iterate rapidly to find what works. Key responsibilities include: owning customer acquisition targets with clear accountability; building scalable marketing playbooks across the growth organization; designing and running structured growth experiments across the funnel; translating performance data into prioritization decisions; and ensuring consistent brand representation across new markets and strategic partner channels. You'll work cross-functionally with business operations, sales, member experience, product, design, and growth engineering. The role offers clear targets, full ownership, and direct visibility across the organization. Ideal candidates bring 3–10+ years of hands-on growth experience with direct ownership of customer acquisition in consumer or consumer-adjacent businesses. You should be comfortable in early-stage, unstructured environments; skilled at translating growth goals into cross-functional execution; data-fluent with the ability to connect ad platform performance, on-site behavior, and CRM outcomes; and ideally have marketing or management consulting experience. Base operates with a lean, high-ownership marketing team focused on clear accountability, tight feedback loops, and bias toward action. The company emphasizes first-principles thinking, rapid execution, direct feedback, ownership mentality, and strong opinions held loosely. Work is in-person and mission-driven, with intensity balanced by collaboration and optimism.
