Salary: GBP 75,000 - 200,000 / annual

Axle Energy is building software infrastructure for the decarbonised energy system, controlling hundreds of thousands of energy assets by shifting electricity usage to times when power is cheap and green. The company manages vehicle charging, heating systems, and home batteries at scale, operating in a legacy industry but at high speed with backing from world-leading investors including Energize Capital and Accel. This Growth/Sales role is for someone who can drive go-to-market success and build repeatable commercial motion as Axle scales. You will help customers adopt the technology, commercialise flexibility across their customer base, and expand usage over time. The role requires strong commercial instincts, sharp GTM mindset, and comfort operating in technical conversations. Key responsibilities include: - Winning new business and developing/managing the growing sales pipeline - Defining and executing go-to-market strategy as Axle establishes its commercial approach - Owning new customer acquisition end-to-end, from first conversation through commercial close - Driving GTM execution with partners on value propositions, pricing, customer segmentation, and launch strategies - Acting as commercial bridge between partners and internal teams, translating market/customer insights into product, pricing, and GTM inputs - Building and refining scalable sales and partner processes supporting repeatable growth across customer segments - Tracking performance, pipeline, and outcomes using data to prioritise effort and improve commercial effectiveness You will have the ability to make immediate contribution to rapidly increasing revenue growth and shape sales processes at a formative stage.
