HumanSignal is a human data partner for AI companies, specializing in real-world data creation, annotation, and evaluation. The company operates Label Studio, an open-source data labeling platform used by over 1 million practitioners, and provides enterprise services for advanced ML and AI teams building data factories.
As a Growth Associate, you will build and scale the expert supply side of HumanSignal's Data Services business. Your primary responsibility is sourcing, vetting, and onboarding specialized annotators and performers across dozens of skill profiles and languages. The speed and quality of your pipeline directly impacts the company's ability to accept new customer projects and drive revenue growth.
Key responsibilities include:
• High-touch sourcing and recruiting using LinkedIn Recruiter, professional communities, universities, and niche networks to find hard-to-find specialists including non-English language speakers, regional dialect speakers, designers, clinicians, and domain experts.
• Scaling sourcing channels by leveraging AI workflows and automation to test and scale high-converting channels from online communities to LinkedIn, while maintaining quality standards and improving annotator experience.
• Establishing vetting pipelines that assess annotators based on project requirements, expertise, and specific needs.
• Building and maintaining relationships with experts between projects to keep the roster engaged and staffable, moving beyond cold outreach to warm relationships.
• Cross-team collaboration with project and delivery leads to translate customer specifications into candidate profiles early, enabling sourcing to begin before projects officially launch.
• Driving growth by increasing staffed capacity, which is the primary constraint on project volume the company can accept.
You will own funnel metrics including outreach volume, response rates, conversion rates, and time-to-fill. Success requires strong written communication, responsiveness, professionalism, and comfort with email and direct message outreach as primary channels. The role suits someone with 2-5 years of high-volume recruiting experience, familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and sourcing tools, and a track record in fast-paced, target-driven environments such as startups, agencies, or consulting.
