TRM Labs is an AI-powered intelligence platform helping public and private sector agencies investigate and disrupt crime. The company serves financial institutions, fintechs, crypto businesses, and regulators with onchain compliance solutions.
You will lead TRM's Onchain Compliance product portfolio as a Group Product Manager—a player-coach role combining people leadership with hands-on product ownership. You'll hire, coach, and develop Product Managers while personally driving the most critical initiatives. You are accountable for team outcomes: adoption, retention, and ARR.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of PMs, providing direct feedback and early intervention when projects slip
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Onchain Compliance products
- Define success metrics and hold the team accountable to real outcomes
- Personally own a few critical initiatives—prototype, build AI agents, and ship alongside your team
- Build and maintain strategic customer relationships; join deal conversations and translate customer needs into roadmap priorities
- Report honestly on portfolio health using real metrics; call out risks early and unblock PMs before projects fail
- Influence cross-functional teams and set expectations with peers outside your organization
TRM operates at high velocity with a distributed-first model. The company has hubs in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Washington D.C., London, and Singapore. You'll participate in work weeks (typically 1–2 per quarter) at a TRM hub or designated location, with 14 days' notice and travel covered by the company.
The culture emphasizes speed, ownership, and impact. Priorities change quickly; you'll operate with ambiguity and high personal accountability. The environment rewards urgency, adaptability, and outcomes. TRM is a Series C company with $220M in funding, backed by Goldman Sachs, Bessemer, Y Combinator, Thoma Bravo, and others.

- Vision and communication: You simplify complex ideas, align teams around what matters, and inspire others toward a shared vision
- Metrics-driven mindset: You define success and failure with real metrics, report honestly, and call out risks early
- Cross-team influence: You set expectations and unblock work with PMs and teams outside your own
- Commercial ownership: You build direct customer relationships, understand financial and regulatory workflows, and answer for adoption, retention, and revenue
- AI fluency: You are among the top 10% of operators in your function in how you apply AI to accelerate workflows, structure problems, improve output quality, and increase speed and leverage
