As Group Financial Controller, you will lead Tide's Financial Reporting & Control team in India, overseeing the financial results and accounting operations for all India entities. This is a people-management role reporting to senior finance leadership, with direct responsibility for a team of Financial Controllers. Key responsibilities include: **Financial Reporting & Control**: Lead month-end close and financial reporting for India entities. Own P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow accuracy with robust review processes. Ensure strong reconciliation and control frameworks. Oversee statutory accounts preparation and annual financial statements. **Business Partnering**: Work closely with product and business teams on new product launches. Design and embed accounting processes and controls for new business lines. Provide trusted finance input into product structuring and design. **Finance Transformation**: Drive automation of financial processes across the team. Support AI tool deployment within finance. Champion continuous improvement and best practices. **Lending & Insurance Accounting**: Provide technical leadership on Tide's high-growth lending and insurance businesses. Own IFRS 9 accounting and provisioning for lending products. Partner with Risk and Product teams on accounting treatment of new propositions. **Audit & Tax**: Lead external audit engagement and year-end audit process. Manage tax authority interactions and enquiries. Maintain relationships with external auditors and advisors. **Leadership**: Prepare financial results and technical papers for senior stakeholders. Lead, coach, and develop the Financial Controller team to build capability and expertise. The role requires strong technical expertise in lending accounting, IFRS 9 provisioning, and financial controls. You will be a strategic finance partner driving both operational excellence and transformation.
