Jellyfish is a global digital marketing agency blending technology, creative talent, and data expertise to drive client success. As Group Director reporting to the VP of Client Management, you will lead client relationships and internal teams to deliver strategic solutions and drive business growth.
You will own overarching client strategies across a substantial book of business, ensuring sustained growth and long-term partnerships. You'll establish and maintain relationships with C-suite and senior decision-makers internally and externally, driving retention, satisfaction, and revenue expansion. Your role includes leading cross-functional teams toward aligned goals, serving as the escalation point for complex client issues, and driving new product activation and market expansion.
Key responsibilities include streamlining processes and improving workflows for consistency across accounts, collaborating with leadership on capability workstreams, and leading, mentoring, and developing senior team members. You will deliver quarterly SMART goals and performance reviews to direct reports, oversee hub ownership performance, and identify growth and performance improvement opportunities.
You bring 13+ years of client management experience at an agency, publication, or brand, with at least 4+ years of management and team leadership experience. You have subject matter expertise in platform knowledge, retainer development, and campaign execution. You think strategically about long-term client and agency plans, prioritize effectively, delegate well, and thrive under pressure in fast-paced environments. Agency experience is essential.
