Salary: USD 117,000 - 165,000 / annual

Precision AQ is a leading payer marketing agency supporting global pharmaceutical and life sciences clients in achieving commercial excellence. The agency specializes in demonstrating economic, clinical, and societal value of medical treatments to payers, providers, patients, and policymakers through evidence generation, analysis, and strategic communication. The Group Copy Supervisor leads content development for multiple projects across a medium-sized book of business (typically 3–4 assigned accounts spanning multiple therapeutic areas) while providing strategic input and working cross-functionally with high independence. This role ensures high-quality content regarding accuracy, clarity, organization, consistency, and adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines. Key responsibilities include: - Independently develop strategic, medically accurate, high-quality content for diverse medical communications resources - Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling content meeting client objectives - Review project briefs, timelines, assign staff, and attend kick-off meetings - Review content for scientific accuracy and project appropriateness - Ensure best practices are followed and advise on strategic and client considerations - Liaise directly with clients on strategy and content matters, including medical, legal, and regulatory review meetings - Discuss medical content with external stakeholders including medical professionals, key opinion leaders, and managed care customers - Plan and allocate resources based on business needs in conjunction with internal stakeholders - Supervise 2–4 medical writers and/or scientific associates directly - Establish and track individual development plans for team members; provide timely feedback - Assist in developing new business proposals including target product profiles and competitive analyses - Attend and present at business pitch meetings as needed - Promote and adhere to company values (Client Service, Purpose, Accountability, Mutual Respect, Collaboration) Requirements: - BA/BS in life sciences OR BA/BS in English combined with experience in a pharmaceutical agency, medical communications company, or healthcare advertising - 5–7 years of experience in medical communication, pharmaceutical, and/or healthcare industry - Command of American Medical Association (AMA) style - Strong proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat - Strong proficiency with scientific search engines including PubMed and Google Scholar - Strong written and verbal communication - High analytic ability - Strong self-management, organizational, and time management skills - Ability to translate complex scientific concepts for various managed care audiences - Ability to prioritize deadline-sensitive projects and juggle competing client priorities - Highly team- and detail-oriented Preferred qualifications: - Advanced degree in life sciences (PharmD or PhD) - Expertise in gathering, evaluating, and summarizing healthcare business and scientific literature for managed care audiences - Working knowledge of managed markets, healthcare delivery systems, health reform legislation, and/or managed care experience (HMO, MCO, PBM) - Ability to develop engaging promotional content - Managed care experience
