Salary: USD 94,000 - 125,000 / annual
GRAIL is a healthcare company pioneering multi-cancer early detection (MCED) technology using next-generation sequencing, clinical studies, and data science. The company is bringing Galleri, a revolutionary MCED product, to market and seeking a Galleri Consultant 1 (GGC1) to join the commercial team in Fort Lauderdale.
This is a field-based, customer-focused sales role requiring a "market builder" mindset. The GGC1 will spend >85% of time making in-person visits to targeted physician practices, planning and supporting events, and executing company initiatives. You will prospect and target primary care practices to generate interest in Galleri, identify and onboard early adopters, and develop territory business plans to drive growth and meet sales goals.
Key responsibilities include: expanding prescribing breadth and depth; executing national sales strategy aligned with GRAIL standards; representing and collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales leadership, marketing, customer service, billing); partnering with Medical Science Liaisons to educate providers on MCED technology; managing complex customer accounts through consultative selling; leading product conversations and clinical education sessions; analyzing territory performance and competitive dynamics; maintaining CRM documentation; building long-term customer relationships; and ensuring compliance with legal and healthcare industry standards.
You will work hand-in-hand with sales leadership and internal stakeholders to execute go-to-market strategy, engage physicians and their staff to think differently about cancer screening, and integrate MCED technology into office workflows. REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA)
- 3+ years of successful sales experience (or 2+ years if candidate has direct GRAIL experience)
- Ability to travel as required (~85%, may include overnight stays)
- Valid driver's license
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or related healthcare field
- Background in medical or biological sciences
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Recognition for sales performance (awards, rankings, consistent overachievement)
- Exceptionally motivated, flexible, results-oriented with strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of urgency; ability to work independently and manage territory with minimal supervision
- Desire to work in startup or high-growth environment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal); demonstrated ability to present to internal and external customers
- Strong time management and priority assessment skills
- Working knowledge of geography and customer base
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Doc, Forms, Slides)
