Speechify is a 200-person, fully distributed company that has built a market-leading text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people globally. The company recently launched SIMBA Voice Agents, a platform enabling companies to deploy natural, human-sounding AI voice agents in 71+ languages with sub-second latency. Each customer receives a Forward Deployed Engineer who embeds with them to build, customize, and iterate on their voice agents.
This Account Executive / Go-to-Market role is for someone who combines sales acumen with technical depth. You will own the complete sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise customers—from prospecting and discovery through close and handoff to the deployment team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full sales pipeline for new customers, with a focus on mid-market and enterprise segments
- Conducting technically sophisticated discovery calls to understand customer use cases, existing tech stacks, and integration requirements
- Building and demoing custom voice agent prototypes during the sales process to accelerate customer buy-in
- Partnering closely with Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure smooth transitions from sales to onboarding and deployment
- Developing go-to-market playbooks, messaging frameworks, and outbound strategies to help SIMBA penetrate new verticals
- Representing customer feedback and needs internally, influencing product roadmap and packaging decisions
- Maintaining pipeline discipline, accurate forecasting, and CRM hygiene
Ideal candidates bring 3–8 years of experience in sales, account executive, or go-to-market roles at technical B2B companies. You should have a proven track record closing deals with both technical buyers (CTOs, engineers) and business stakeholders. Comfort with APIs, no-code/low-code tools, and the ability to build compelling demos is essential. A strong understanding of the AI/ML or voice technology landscape is required; you should follow this space closely and be able to simplify complex technical concepts without losing depth.
Nice-to-have qualifications include prior experience selling AI, voice, or conversational technology; familiarity with telephony infrastructure, contact centers, or customer experience platforms; prior solutions engineering or forward deployment experience; and multilingual capabilities or international sales experience.
The role offers competitive base salary ($105,000–$140,000), commission, equity, and benefits in a fast-moving startup environment where individual wins have outsized impact.
