Speechify is a 200-person, fully distributed company on a mission to make reading never a barrier to learning. Over 50 million users rely on Speechify's text-to-speech products to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, articles, and websites into audio. The company has earned recognition as Google's Chrome Extension of the Year and Apple's 2025 Design Award winner for Inclusivity. SIMBA Voice Agents by Speechify is a new product line enabling companies to deploy natural, human-sounding AI voice agents in 71+ languages with sub-second latency. Every customer receives a Forward Deployed Engineer who builds their agents, joins their Slack, and iterates weekly. This Account Executive / Go-to-Market role is for someone who is equally comfortable in a boardroom and at a terminal. You will own the full sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise customers—from prospecting through close. Your responsibilities include running technically deep discovery calls to understand customer use cases and tech stacks, building and demoing custom voice agent prototypes during sales to accelerate buy-in, and partnering with Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure smooth handoffs from sale to onboarding. You will develop GTM playbooks, messaging, and outbound strategies to help SIMBA penetrate new verticals, represent customer needs internally to influence product roadmap and packaging decisions, and maintain pipeline discipline in CRM with accurate revenue forecasting. Ideal candidates have 3–8 years in sales, account executive, or GTM roles at technical B2B companies, with a track record of closing deals with both technical buyers (CTOs, engineers) and business stakeholders. You should be comfortable getting hands-on with APIs and no-code/low-code tools to build compelling demos, have a strong understanding of the AI/ML or voice technology landscape, and excel at simplifying complex technical concepts. Self-direction, pipeline discipline, and bias toward action are essential. Nice-to-have qualifications include experience selling AI, voice, or conversational technology; familiarity with telephony infrastructure, contact centers, or customer experience platforms; prior experience in forward deployment or solutions engineering; and multilingual capabilities or international sales experience. The role offers competitive base salary plus commission, equity, and benefits in a fast-moving startup environment where your wins have outsized impact.
