Speechify is a 200-person, fully distributed company that has built a market-leading text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people globally. The company was recently named Chrome Extension of the Year by Google and won Apple's 2025 Design Award for Inclusivity.
This role focuses on SIMBA Voice Agents, Speechify's enterprise AI voice agent platform that enables companies to deploy natural, human-sounding voice agents in 71+ languages with sub-second latency. Each customer receives a dedicated Forward Deployed Engineer who builds custom agents, embeds in their Slack, and iterates weekly.
As an Account Executive / Go-to-Market professional, you will own the complete sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise customers—from prospecting and discovery through close. This is a hybrid dealmaker and builder role: you'll conduct technically deep discovery calls to understand customer use cases and tech stacks, build and demo custom voice agent prototypes during evaluation phases, and partner with Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure smooth handoffs from sales to onboarding.
Key responsibilities include developing GTM playbooks and outbound strategies to help SIMBA penetrate new verticals, representing customer needs internally to influence product roadmap and packaging decisions, and maintaining disciplined pipeline management with accurate revenue forecasting.
You should have 3–6 years of experience in sales, account executive, or GTM roles at technical B2B companies, with a proven track record of closing deals with both technical buyers (CTOs, engineers) and business stakeholders. You're comfortable getting hands-on with APIs and no-code/low-code tools to build compelling demos, have a strong understanding of the AI/ML or voice technology landscape, and can simplify complex technical concepts without losing depth. Ideal candidates are self-directed with strong pipeline discipline and a bias toward action.
Nice-to-have qualifications include prior experience selling AI, voice, or conversational technology; familiarity with telephony infrastructure, contact centers, or customer experience platforms; prior experience in forward deployment or solutions engineering; and multilingual capabilities or experience selling into international markets.
