Speechify is a 200-person, fully distributed company that has built the world's leading text-to-speech platform, used by over 50 million people to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, and web content into audio. The company recently won Chrome Extension of the Year (Google) and Apple's 2025 Design Award for Inclusivity.
Speechify is now launching SIMBA Voice Agents, a platform enabling companies to deploy natural, human-sounding AI voice agents in 71+ languages with sub-second latency. Unlike traditional vendor relationships, every SIMBA customer receives a dedicated Forward Deployed Engineer who builds their agents, joins their Slack, and iterates weekly.
You will own the full sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise accounts, from prospecting through close. This is a hybrid technical and commercial role: you'll run deep discovery calls with technical buyers (CTOs, engineers) and business stakeholders, build and demo custom voice agent prototypes during sales to accelerate buy-in, and partner with Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure smooth handoffs from sale to onboarding.
Key responsibilities include developing GTM playbooks and outbound strategies to help SIMBA penetrate new verticals, representing customer needs internally to influence product roadmap and packaging, and maintaining pipeline discipline in CRM with accurate revenue forecasting.
You should have 3–8 years in sales, account executive, or GTM roles at technical B2B companies, with a proven track record closing deals with both technical and business buyers. You're comfortable getting hands-on with APIs and no-code/low-code tools to build compelling demos. Strong understanding of the AI/ML or voice technology landscape is essential. You communicate exceptionally well, simplifying complex technical concepts without losing depth, and you're highly self-directed with strong pipeline discipline.
Nice-to-have qualifications include prior experience selling AI, voice, or conversational technology; familiarity with telephony infrastructure, contact centers, or customer experience platforms; prior solutions engineering or forward deployment experience; and multilingual capabilities or international sales experience.
