San Francisco Compute builds and operates GPU clusters and supercomputers, offering flexible lease terms with subleasing capabilities to reduce customer risk. Unlike traditional GPU cloud providers that force long-term contracts, SFC operates a hybrid model combining cloud operations with marketplace mechanics, allowing customers to sublease capacity and adjust commitments.
You will own full-cycle sales for enterprise and AI infrastructure customers, carrying an individual pipeline and revenue target. Your responsibilities include:
**Customer Acquisition & Pipeline Management**
- Hunt for and qualify new business across enterprise and infrastructure accounts
- Build relationships with technical founders, ML leads, and infrastructure teams
- Own end-to-end commercial relationships with a portfolio of customers
- Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with GPU compute buyers
- Track market dynamics, competitive trends, and demand across verticals (AI labs, biotech, robotics)
**Deal Execution & Onboarding**
- Conduct discovery calls and demos, building ROI cases tailored to each prospect
- Lead full sales cycles from prospecting through close with repeatable, scalable processes
- Run or support proof-of-concepts (POCs) demonstrating platform value to technical stakeholders
- Own deal tracking, pipeline reporting, forecasting, and CRM management
**Account Mapping & GTM Strategy**
- Represent the company at industry events, meetups, and online communities
- Leverage prospecting channels to consistently engage and convert leads
- Shape creative go-to-market strategy and run tight reporting on sales activity and outcomes
The company was founded by former leaders from Lambda, Crusoe, Digital Ocean, AWS, and Hut8. The CTO is the cofounder and former CEO of Voltage Park. The team has deployed 8GW of datacenter capacity and hundreds of thousands of GPUs in prior roles.
This role requires in-office presence Monday through Friday in San Francisco.
**Requirements**
- 3–5 years in sales or account executive roles focused on technical buyers, preferably in AI infrastructure, cloud, or marketplace businesses
- Track record of owning and closing full-cycle deals with individual pipeline or revenue targets
- Pre-existing network or experience selling to AI labs, infrastructure buyers, or enterprise technical teams
- Comfortable explaining technical topics (GPU architecture, cluster performance, workload requirements, infrastructure procurement)
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- High ownership and bias to action
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Exposure to AI/ML workloads or customers
- Experience in marketplaces or two-sided platforms
- Worked closely with technical teams
- Experience running POCs or technical evaluations as part of a sales cycle
