Speechify is a 200-person, fully distributed company that has built a market-leading text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people globally. The company was recently named Chrome Extension of the Year by Google and won Apple's 2025 Design Award for Inclusivity. This role focuses on selling SIMBA Voice Agents, Speechify's new product that enables companies to deploy natural, human-sounding AI voice agents in 71+ languages with sub-second latency. Each customer receives a dedicated Forward Deployed Engineer who builds their agents, joins their Slack, and iterates weekly. As an Account Executive / Go-to-Market specialist, you will own the complete sales cycle for new mid-market and enterprise customers—from prospecting and discovery through close and handoff. This is a hybrid technical and commercial role: you'll conduct deep discovery calls with technical buyers and business stakeholders, build and demo custom voice agent prototypes during sales cycles to accelerate deal momentum, and partner closely with Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure smooth transitions from sales to onboarding. Key responsibilities include developing GTM playbooks and outbound strategies to help SIMBA penetrate new verticals, representing customer needs internally to influence product roadmap and packaging decisions, and maintaining disciplined pipeline management with accurate revenue forecasting. You should have 3–8 years of experience in sales, account executive, or GTM roles at technical B2B companies, with a proven track record of closing deals with both technical buyers (CTOs, engineers) and business decision-makers. You're comfortable getting hands-on with APIs and no-code/low-code tools to build compelling demos, have a strong understanding of the AI/ML and voice technology landscape, and can simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences. You're self-directed, pipeline-disciplined, and action-oriented. Nice-to-have qualifications include prior experience selling AI, voice, or conversational technology; familiarity with telephony infrastructure, contact centers, or customer experience platforms; prior solutions engineering or forward deployment experience; and multilingual capabilities or international sales experience.
