Speechify is a 200-person, fully distributed company on a mission to make reading never a barrier to learning. Over 50 million users rely on Speechify's text-to-speech products to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, articles, and websites into audio. The company has been recognized by Google as Chrome Extension of the Year and by Apple as a 2025 Design Award winner for Inclusivity. SIMBA Voice Agents by Speechify is a new product line enabling companies to deploy natural, human-sounding AI voice agents in 71+ languages with sub-second latency. Unlike traditional vendor relationships, every SIMBA customer receives a Forward Deployed Engineer embedded in their workflow—joining their Slack, building agents, and iterating weekly. You will own the full sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise accounts, from prospecting through close. This is a hybrid dealmaker and builder role: you'll conduct technically deep discovery calls to understand customer use cases and tech stacks, build and demo custom voice agent prototypes during sales to accelerate buy-in, and partner with Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure seamless handoff from sale to onboarding. You'll develop GTM playbooks and messaging to help SIMBA penetrate new verticals, represent customer needs internally to influence product roadmap and packaging, and maintain pipeline discipline in CRM with accurate revenue forecasting. Ideal candidates have 3–8 years in sales, account executive, or GTM roles at technical B2B companies, with a track record closing deals with both technical buyers (CTOs, engineers) and business stakeholders. You're comfortable getting hands-on with APIs and no-code/low-code tools to build compelling demos, have a strong understanding of the AI/ML or voice technology landscape, and can simplify complex technical concepts without losing depth. You're highly self-directed with strong pipeline discipline and a bias toward action. Nice-to-have experience includes selling AI, voice, or conversational technology; familiarity with telephony infrastructure, contact centers, or customer experience platforms; prior forward deployment or solutions engineering work; and multilingual or international sales background. Competitive base ($105k–$140k) plus commission, equity, and benefits. Fast-moving startup environment where your wins have outsized impact.
