Nerdio is a Series C SaaS company that enhances Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, and Microsoft Intune with automation and management capabilities, helping partners and enterprises reduce cloud costs by up to 80%.
You will join the technical team as a Go Live Engineer supporting the Western Time Zones. This role bridges sales enablement and technical delivery, working closely with Partner Sales Managers to support Microsoft Channel Partners and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) with AVD implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Partner Sales Managers to provide technical support for Microsoft Channel Partners and MSPs
- Lead first several account implementations for Nerdio partners
- Assist fellow Support Engineers with troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Collaborate with technical team members to maintain, design, and enhance tools and processes
- Contribute to technical knowledge base and documentation
- Participate in product enhancement discussions and feature development
- Drive metrics around go-lives, partner implementations, and MRR goals
- Conduct technical product demonstrations
You will be exposed to the Nerdio platform, internal teams, and external partner ecosystems. The role demands strong technical depth combined with excellent communication skills and the ability to work at pace with high urgency.
Qualifications:
- Prior hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployments
- Strong experience with Intune, FSLogix, and Active Directory (AAD, Azure AD DS, AD DS)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with virtualization technologies, preferably AVD
- Knowledge of Microsoft networking and applications (Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, Terminal Services)
- Firewalls, VPNs, and TCP/IP networking experience
- Shared storage systems experience (SAN, NAS)
- Project management and planning experience
- Competent understanding of networking layers and resources
- Ability to work with high urgency and make quick decisions
- Comfortable with highly technical customers and partners
- Ability to tolerate uncertainty and change
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline
- AZ-104 (Microsoft Azure Administrator) certification preferred
- AZ-140 (Configuring and Operating Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop) certification preferred
