Remote is a global employment platform that helps organizations recruit, pay, and manage international teams compliantly. This role is part of the Global Payroll Implementation team, responsible for technically implementing new customers onto Remote's Global Payroll solution platform.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for payroll customers, guiding them through a seamless transition to Remote's payroll products and services. Key responsibilities include analyzing customer payroll needs, configuring the Remote Global Payroll system on a per-customer basis, obtaining and validating payroll data, coordinating parallel payroll runs, reconciling wage-based taxes, verifying statutory compliance, and managing payroll go-live coordination. You will hand off completed implementations to the Remote Payroll Operations team and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the process.
You'll work with multiple stakeholders across different regions, managing projects asynchronously in a fully distributed environment. The role requires deep technical knowledge of global payroll processing, statutory tax regulations, and end-to-end HR/payroll workflows. You should be comfortable with data management, accounting reconciliations, and have strong problem-solving abilities. Experience with payroll software implementation, DACH payroll systems, and tools like Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and Salesforce is valued. You'll report to the Manager of Global Payroll Implementations and work independently while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
