Papaya Global, a B2B SaaS unicorn with $400M+ in funding, is seeking a Global Payroll & EOR Onboarding Implementation Manager to lead end-to-end implementation projects for their payroll, Employer of Record (EOR), and workforce management solutions across 160+ countries.
In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring smooth and successful client onboarding. Key responsibilities include conducting discovery sessions to understand client payroll, HR, compliance, and operational requirements; developing and managing comprehensive implementation plans with clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables; guiding clients through platform configuration, data migration, testing, payroll validation, and go-live readiness; and supporting post-launch stabilization.
You'll collaborate closely with Payroll Operations, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Account Management teams to ensure seamless delivery and handover. The role involves identifying project risks and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies, and leveraging AI-powered tools to improve implementation efficiency and client outcomes. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement of implementation methodologies, playbooks, and best practices.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, 4+ years in SaaS implementation, onboarding, consulting, project management, or customer success roles, and 3+ years in payroll, global payroll, EOR, HR technology, or workforce management. You must have proven experience managing complex implementation projects from discovery through go-live, strong understanding of payroll operations and compliance requirements, and experience with HRIS, payroll, ERP, or workforce management platforms.
Desirable skills include Salesforce experience, knowledge of integrations and APIs, familiarity with multinational organizations and global workforce solutions, and proficiency with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot. Success in this role means delivering high-quality implementations on time and within scope, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll and HR process configuration, building trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders, and driving operational excellence through scalable processes and AI-enabled workflows.
