8Fleet is a rapidly growing LA-based technology and logistics startup building operational infrastructure for rideshare fleets, including support for future autonomous vehicles. The company is expanding quickly across Los Angeles and seeking a Senior Business Operations Associate to drive operational excellence and strategic growth.
In this role, you will own key business priorities that amplify growth and optimize operations. You'll project-manage strategic initiatives, work cross-functionally to measure process efficiency, and identify opportunities to create business value. Responsibilities include developing frameworks to prioritize high-ROI opportunities, identifying operational weaknesses and driving process improvements, monitoring KPIs, analyzing fleet performance data for profitability gains, and supporting leadership with data-driven insights. You'll be a go-to problem-solver for urgent business needs, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, business intelligence, strategy, or high-growth operations/startup environments. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to self-serve data investigation and make data-driven decisions. You'll balance attention to detail with swift execution, maintain a bias toward action, and communicate clearly with stakeholders. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; SQL, Python, R, and AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) are strong pluses. A bachelor's degree is required, and ridesharing platform experience is valued.
