Aspire is a financial operating system for global founders, combining banking, software, and automation into a single platform. The company serves 50,000+ startups and growing businesses worldwide, backed by Y Combinator, Peak XV, and Lightspeed, and partners with J.P. Morgan, Visa, and Wise.
You will own Aspire's global partner marketing strategy and execution across all three business units (Aspire BA, Aspire OS, AspireX), all geographies, and all partner categories including banking/fintech, ERPs, accounting platforms, VCs, channel partners, resellers, and ISVs. Reporting to the VP of Partnerships, you are the architect and operator—not a coordinator. This is a hands-on individual-contributor role where you set the global strategy and playbook that regional teams execute and localize.
Key responsibilities include:
**Global Partner Marketing Strategy & Playbook**: Define Aspire's partner marketing roadmap tied to partner-sourced revenue and new customer acquisition targets. Build the standard playbook covering co-marketing program structures, MDF frameworks, partner enablement assets, and campaign templates. Prioritize investment across partner categories and markets based on revenue potential and strategic fit.
**Partner-Sourced Pipeline & Revenue**: Identify and activate partner marketing opportunities with Partnership and Channel Managers globally. Own the global Marketing Development Fund (MDF) framework—allocation principles, governance, and ROI tracking. Track partner-sourced pipeline, revenue contribution, and new-logo acquisition, using data to reallocate investment.
**Co-Marketing Campaigns at Scale**: Design repeatable co-marketing campaign frameworks (joint content, webinars, events, social) that Field Marketing and partner teams can execute in-market. Localize global messaging for partner-facing campaigns. Equip partners with ready-to-use assets, playbooks, and enablement materials.
**Bridge Between Partnerships & Field Marketing**: Work closely with Field Marketing Managers in every market to align partner marketing execution with local go-to-market priorities. Serve as the central coordination point ensuring global consistency and local relevance. Represent partner marketing's needs in broader marketing and partnerships planning.
**Measurement & Performance**: Establish shared metrics and reporting cadence for partner marketing performance. Share regular performance readouts with VP of Partnerships and business unit stakeholders. Translate results into strategic decisions on where to double down or pull back.
You are equally comfortable setting the agenda and shipping campaigns yourself. You drive outcomes through influence and partnership, not initially through headcount. This is ideal for someone who wants to build a function from scratch and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
**Requirements:**
- 8+ years in partner marketing, channel marketing, or field marketing spanning multiple partner types (channel partners, resellers, ISVs minimum)
- Proven track record designing and running co-marketing programs and/or MDF frameworks that drove measurable partner-sourced pipeline or revenue—not just brand awareness
- Experience working globally or across multiple markets/regions, setting central strategy that local teams executed
- Ability to operate as both strategist and operator, equally comfortable setting the agenda and shipping campaigns
- Strong stakeholder management across Partnerships, Sales, Field Marketing, and BU/Product Marketing leadership
**Nice to Have:**
- Background in fintech, SaaS, or financial services
- Experience in fast-growing, multi-business-unit organizations spanning SME, mid-market, and enterprise
- Familiarity with the full partner ecosystem in fintech (banks, ERPs/accounting platforms, VCs, channel resellers, ISVs)
- Built partner marketing measurement frameworks (partner-sourced pipeline attribution, MDF ROI dashboards)
- Fluency in Mandarin/Chinese (Aspire's partner ecosystem in China is growing)
