Pebl is seeking a strategic Global Benefits Design Expert to lead the design, negotiation, and product partnership strategy for their global benefits portfolio. This role owns the complete benefits strategy, from vendor sourcing and contract negotiation to platform integration and cross-functional alignment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan Design & Roadmap: Source and contract with vendors to implement new plans, managing a global renewal calendar of 70+ plans annually across 185+ countries.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate commercial terms and proactively manage broker relationships to ensure quality and competitive pricing at scale.
- Product Road Map: Partner with product teams to integrate benefits into Pebl's global platforms, prioritizing features like Day-1 enrollment and platform visibility.
- Program Socialization: Drive cross-functional engagement to align benefit strategy with executive leadership, go-to-market goals, and R&D product roadmaps.
- Strategic Renewal Quality: Lead the transition from zero-margin allowance spend to margin-bearing insurance plans, optimizing the global P&L and targeting a 67% company-wide attach rate.
Required qualifications include 6+ years of benefits delivery experience, demonstrated success in global benefits strategy and design, vendor and broker management at scale, financial and P&L acumen, and the ability to collaborate across product, HR, and sales teams. The ideal candidate has experience designing tiered benefit packages (Core, Standard, Premium), managing 70+ global vendors, analyzing attach rate trends, and integrating benefits strategy into software platforms. Strong project management, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional communication skills are essential.
