Salary: USD 70,000 - 85,000 / annual
Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building energy-efficient solutions to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. The company owns and operates the full stack from electrons to tokens, addressing the critical bottleneck of power in AI compute.
As a General Ledger Accountant, you will own cash accounting, accrual processes, and related accounting functions critical to Crusoe's financial integrity as the company scales. You will sit at the intersection of Treasury and other accounting functions, ensuring accurate transaction tracking and reconciliation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and reconciling cash transactions monthly, ensuring completeness of cash entries and accounts against bank statements
- Performing cross-functional reconciliations of sub-ledgers and systems to the general ledger for accruals and other transactions
- Coordinating with tax, treasury, fixed asset, and revenue accounting teams to identify and accurately record complex transactions
- Supporting the tax team on direct and indirect monthly accruals
- Assisting with external audit and due diligence requests
- Playing a key role in month-end close processes
You bring 2–3 years of accounting experience and a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. You have solid understanding of U.S. GAAP regarding cash, accrual processes, internal controls, and accounting best practices. You excel at manipulating and analyzing large datasets with speed and accuracy, and have strong proficiency with ERP systems and Excel.
Bonus qualifications include experience in data center, energy, or heavy manufacturing industries; advanced Excel skills (Power Queries); familiarity with systems like Sage Intacct, FloQast, Coupa, or Kyriba; and CPA licensure or candidacy.
