Veeva Systems, a mission-driven public benefit corporation and pioneer in industry cloud for life sciences, is seeking a General Manager to lead the Falcon Writer product suite. This is a high-impact leadership role operating as a startup within Veeva, where you will own overall business strategy, execution, and P&L for the product line.
You will serve as the primary business owner overseeing Strategy, Product, Services, and Internal Support teams to build, scale, and deliver a market-leading platform. Key responsibilities include:
**Strategic Leadership**: Formulate and execute the end-to-end vision, long-term roadmap, and go-to-market strategy to establish Falcon Writer as the category leader in life sciences.
**Customer Success & Partnerships**: Act as an executive sponsor on high-stakes enterprise deals, building deep strategic partnerships with key accounts and ensuring flawless customer adoption and retention.
**Market Presence**: Serve as the public face of the product, communicating vision and value in the marketplace, presenting at industry conferences, and evangelizing the solution.
**Team Building & Operations**: Attract, hire, and retain high-performing teams. Establish scalable, customer-centric delivery and contracting processes to support rapid growth.
**Product Innovation**: Partner closely with Product leadership to prioritize core features and maintain exceptional customer satisfaction.
**Performance Accountability**: Drive accountability across revenue targets, services profitability, customer satisfaction, and product delivery milestones.
This role requires a high-energy leader with strong judgment, ability to learn quickly, commitment to operational excellence, and focus on needle-moving initiatives. You'll need 15+ years of leadership experience spanning strategy, execution, delivery, or product management, with strong commercial acumen in closing and expanding enterprise deals. Deep experience establishing operational rigor and scalable go-to-market structures in high-growth environments is essential. Outstanding communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills are required.
