Blank Street is seeking a General Manager to lead multiple coffee and beverage locations in Edinburgh. This is a full-time leadership role requiring 40 hours per week across five days, with flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring strong store performance. Peak trading days (Friday–Sunday) require your availability to support teams.
You will build and develop high-performing teams by hiring, training, and creating clear career pathways. You'll foster a culture of ownership and accountability, ensuring consistency across stores through hands-on coaching and structured development.
You'll deliver a world-class customer experience by setting hospitality standards, leading NPS improvement initiatives, and ensuring every store reflects the Blank Street brand in service quality and design.
You own full P&L responsibility for your stores, ensuring they hit sales, labour, and profitability targets. You'll use data-driven strategies to maximize revenue, improve efficiency, reduce waste, and implement sales-driving initiatives that increase customer spend and repeat visits.
Operational excellence is critical: you'll execute consistently across stores, maintain efficiency and structure, build a strong compliance culture around health and safety standards, and refine processes to improve workflow and service speed.
You'll also lead Blank Street's expansion in your region, overseeing new store openings and scaling operations. You'll work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and people teams to drive innovation and growth.
