Salary: USD 70,000 - 80,000 / annual

Blank Street is a food and beverage brand on a mission to become the defining brand of its generation through elevated products and attention to detail. As General Manager in Boston, you will own full operational responsibility for a single store location, leading a hospitality team and driving business growth. Key Responsibilities: - Hire, train, develop, and manage all team members; create a motivating team culture through consistent coaching and mentorship - Manage store scheduling in compliance with state and local labor laws; review timecards and PTO requests - Oversee food and beverage quality standards, ensuring recipes are executed accurately and consistently - Own all inventory management, vendor relations, waste management, and compliance with the company's Inventory Management System - Spend 50–70% of your week leading by example behind the bar, delivering excellent customer service and technically excellent products - Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and presentation in line with company policies - Achieve operational excellence through company standard scores and audit platform performance - Drive financial performance, grow average order value (AOV), meet sales goals, and develop local brand loyalty - Support light project work that contributes to broader business and professional development Requirements: - 4+ years of experience managing and leading single-store unit operations in high-growth hospitality or consumer brands - Full-time availability: 45 hours per week, 5 days of availability required; must be available to work 2 peak days (typically Friday, Saturday, Sunday) - Experience hiring, developing, and managing hospitality teams - Experience managing inventory and supply chain ordering - Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, espresso, and equipment (must-have) - Strong decision-making and multitasking skills - Strong interpersonal communication skills - Love for coffee and customer service - Experience in a unionized environment is a plus
