Via Transportation is seeking a General Manager to lead the transformation and operation of its transit service in Tulare, CA. This is a high-impact role requiring someone to own end-to-end performance across service quality, partner relationships, financial outcomes, team culture, and long-term strategic direction.
You will lead three concurrent priorities: developing a clear strategic vision for the service in partnership with Via's central functions; executing operational excellence through disciplined day-to-day management; and leading a team through the ambiguity inherent in transforming a transit operation from the ground up.

You will be the visible leader in the field, known for holding yourself and your team to high standards. You'll develop frontline leaders capable of growing into expanded roles as the service scales.
Required qualifications: 5+ years leading complex operations; bachelor's degree; strategic thinking with data-driven decision-making; exceptional leadership and team-building experience; strong communication and stakeholder management; comfort with ambiguity and rapid change; ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; and a commitment to world-class customer service.
